Growing up in Anderson, Indiana, Ike started golf at a young age.  He is familiar with all stages of golf, as he has competed at all levels, starting with IGAPGA’s Mountain Dew Junior Tour (’89-’96), 4 years varsity golf at Highland High School  (’96-’00), and ultimately 2 years professionally  on mini-tours, including the NGA Hooters Tour (’10-’12).

Ike is an Auburn University graduate, with a Bachelors of Architecture and a Masters of Community Planning (Urban Design).  Following graduation, Ike worked in the Architecture field for several years, until returning to golf.  Once returned, he has been a Head instructor, club fitter, and club maker for Performance Golf Academy, and Lead Instructor and Club Fitter for the Matt Swanson School of Golf.  Ike is now the proud Owner and Director of Instruction of Strike Golf Academy for the past 8 years.

Ike can help all levels of golfers, amateurs and professionals, and has had the privilege to help students get to higher levels of golf, including winning Junior events, winning Amateur events, getting on High School teams, winning High School tournaments, and achieving College Golf Scholarships.
